Android phone as Night Vision

| That project come to my mind actually from.. nowhere. Once I bought my new Samsung Xcover 3 and discover it support OTG I test it with USB flsh drive and hey - IT WORKED! What next? Why not to try USB camera. For that you need to know few things: 1. your USB camera need to be USB video class or UVC compatible (one list list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_USB_video_class_devices) 2. power consumption to be low and voltage to be 5 3. android phone must support USB OTG and USB Devices not only flash memory 4. right software In my case the phone support all what is required, my cameras support all what is required, and was easy to find right software. Both of my tests was successful. Once with Logitech Webcam C300 (V-U0004) PN: 860-000184 and second with ebay USB endoscope mini camera. And because I`ve had one 3W IR torch what I bought for other project, I thought to myself: why not to try Night Vision Idea. | Всъщност този проект цъфна изневиделица. Mazak Variaxis 500 Z axis problem-FIX
EN - If you own, or use Mazak Variaxis 500-5AX maybe hit the wall with one quite strange problem - if you work with Z axis lowered down close or after the table center sometimes you`ve got “overload Z” alarm. In our case was profile tool about 20mm taking no more than 1-2mm. In the time of the problem machine was still under guarantee but replacing servo block, setting lower speed in parameters and so on didn`t bring constant problem remove.
The solution was really strange - just zip tie the back response plug to be sure is not vibrating. I suspect high frequency signal going with error check and small vibration make the contacts to loose grip for ms or something like that.
Anyway, using that small “cheat” and you`ll get rid of the problem (about 8years with no such)

Audi 100 park - dash - number plate light problem

In this post, will expain about Audi 100, C4 model 1994. It lost park lights, number plate, dash backlight, and.. fog light.
All that was caused actually by single piece of plastic that cost perhaps no more than 0.20e. As you can guess is not for sale separate.

LIDL Airgun problem[fix]

| I bought that Airgun from LIDL maybe year and half ago and recently it.. die. The reason was.. that stupid thermo-fuse (yellow one). Removing it, and clamp the heating wire straight to the same spot where it was and voila - we`re back in business. | Преди година и половина закупих от LIDL този пистолет за топъл въздух който реши в един прекрасен момент да издъхне. Оказа се термо бушона. Разкарах го, и стегнах реотана направо на негово място. Все още работи без проблем. |

DELL 14” LCD backlight fix

That screen was “dead” by meaning there was no back light. Actually, if you plug some signal to it and start, the monitor has backlight for few seconds and then - nada. Interesting, it has 2 lamps and dual controller but both lamp was tight to the one of the channels. Anyway, what my DIY fix was: remove one SMD transistor, and solder new one.
Extendet story - IC backlight controller, send signal to one MOSFET via smd transistor(removed by me). That MOSFET control the power going to the lamp transformers. I solder new transistor to the IC power supply lines. So, when get power to monitor and push ON, that transistor “open” the mosfet and here backlight is on. In that way I lost the dimm function and backlight is always to MAX but for me that is fine, because that screen should be only use for test, or as screen for one CNC project.
